Our Financial Stewardship

At STLHELP, we believe in transparency and accountability. Every dollar entrusted to us is carefully managed to provide free home medical equipment, protect the environment, and empower our neighbors. Thanks to the generosity of our community, our financial picture is both stable and growing stronger.

Positive Growth Trends

  • Revenue Growth:

    • 2021: $171,922 in contributions and support

    • 2022: $290,896

    • 2023: $355,911

    • 2024: $379,960

This steady increase shows how our supporters continue to believe in and invest in STLHELP’s mission.

  • Community Investment: Foundation support grew significantly in 2024, rising from $177,000 in 2023 to $272,800

This reflects growing confidence from philanthropic partners.

  • Stable Net Assets: Despite the challenges of expanding services, STLHELP has maintained a healthy financial position. Total assets stood at $434,614 at year-end 2024, while liabilities dropped sharply to $68,326—showing stronger stability and reduced debt

  • Operational Responsibility: Administrative and support costs remain lean relative to our growing impact, demonstrating responsible stewardship of donor funds.

Impact Beyond the Numbers

Your financial support does more than balance the books—it keeps hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, and other vital equipment out of landfills and in the hands of people who desperately need them. Every grant, donation, and gift of support helps both people and planet.

How We Use Your Support

  • People Served: Thousands of neighbors regain independence each year with free home medical equipment.

  • Environmental Impact: Hundreds of tons of medical equipment diverted from landfills—protecting our region for future generations.

  • Community Empowerment: A small but mighty staff and dedicated volunteers multiply the impact of every dollar given.

Together, we are building something powerful. A small charity with a skeleton staff has grown into a regional lifeline—because the community has chosen to stand behind STLHELP. A stable financial picture is not just our responsibility—it’s our shared achievement.
